Kyros 7022 |
The coby kyros is an amazing tablet, it has all the features you need in a 7" tablet
and to be honest, is better then the 7" color ereaders; let me elaborate.
the 7" readers like Kobo Vox, Kindle Fire, and Nook Color are great! but they are limited in that
they are just ereaders. - And because its capacitive multi-touch it is a gaming machine
as much as it is an ereader.
You will need to root it for the real android market, but you can! start HERE;
Like most ereaders, its also under 1 pound (400grams); it wont fault you here.
The Coby Kyros 7022 has equal too or better speeds, but is a tablet. so ....
it has a camera, better features, native support for ALL those ereaders with their free to download
apps from various markets "android market, getjar etc." and get this... its cheaper then the cheapest
by about $30. Thats right.
This tablet has an entire website dedicated to it through custom roms and roots; as well
as support on the coby website, this isnt cheap chinese crap either, we are talking
rock solid tablet here!
The only slide fault is the camera, its only .3 mp (yea.... 0.3) but with a rooted
system it will work in skype, and although a bit cloudy, is clear enough!
and with 1080p(or 720p) hdmi output, you can skype on your TV "this is fun!"
If your looking for just an ereader; i 100% wholeheartedly suggest this tablet over those
anyway, just because it will still do it better;simply download the ebook app.
with kindle app, kobo app etc you
will be able to run them all, and with Calibre on your PC; you can convert
anything to it nativly, and because its a tablet it has better PDF support then the other
3 tablets "but at just a 7" screen, it will never be the best pdf reader but the other ereaders
have this same fault.".
This thing will support usb keyboards and a mouse too, so docking stations are a good
addition to have a little android laptop.
